24 Hour Marathon FAQ 2026

The 24 Hour Soccer Marathon Fundraiser is 4 weeks away! I will be sending
communications through the team managers to distribute to your teams via Team Snap.
Please add your team’s game time to your Team Snap Schedule.
Each player will receive a link to create their own fundraising page – we will be using the
Better World fundraising platform as it is specific to non-profits. Below is additional
information explaining the entire fundraising event, please reach out if you have any
questions.
If a business would like to sponsor a player and have a banner out on the turf field, the
fee is $1500 for a 3×6 banner and a company link will be added to the www.fcpride.org
website home page. Please direct any questions to shannoncoleman@fcpride.org

FC PRIDE 24 HOUR SOCCER MARATHON 2026

WHAT?
The 24 Hour Marathon is a fundraiser held on February 6/7 at the FC Pride
Performance Center, beginning at 5:00PM February 6 through 5:00PM February 7. The
club will play a continuous game of soccer for 24 hours. There will also be an online
silent auction full of fun donations from local businesses. Bidding closes at 5:00PM
February 7.

WHY?
The 24 hour soccer marathon will help raise money for spectator bleachers at our home
stadium turf field as well as upgrades to our indoor facility at the Pride Performance
Center and improvements to the fields and equipment on our 21 fields at Lawrence
Soccer Complex. In the past funds raised during the marathon have provided us with a
scoreboard, PA system, Press Box and our home turf field.

WHEN?
Attend your age group’s time on Feb 6/7 and have some fun! (See confirmed times
below)

HOW?
Every player is asked to raise at least $100 – players will create an individualized
donation page with the link sent out on January 16. Fundraising begins on January 23
with the contest ending February 7 at 5:00PM. The will also be a silent auction that will
go from Jan 28-Feb.7
PRIZES

TEAM PRIZE – Winning boys and girls team will have team photo taken and placed in
prominent spot inside the PPC

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER PRIZES

FIRST PLACE – Full Tuition Credit for 2026/2027 Season
SECOND PLACE – $500 soccer.com credit
THIRD PLACE – $250 soccer.com credit
