In a heartwarming gesture, FC Pride Soccer Club extended a helping hand to families in need by presenting a generous check donation to The Sharing Place Food Pantry this morning. The donation, a percentage of the funds raised during their recent 24-hour marathon, will go a long way in supporting the community.
Located at the Lawrence Schools Administrative Offices on 6501 Sunnyside Road (door 5), The Sharing Place Food Pantry has been a beacon of hope for many. Hans Loyda, the director of the food pantry, was present to receive the donation, symbolizing the unity in community support.
Along with the donation, FC Pride Soccer Club shared The Sharing Place Food Pantry’s brochure and volunteer link, encouraging further engagement with the organization. The club also posted a photo capturing the heartfelt moment of the donation handover.
